Spring Cleaning Donation

Hyatt Regency Chicago donated 56 suits to Bottomless Closet and 56 Prom Dresses to The Glass Slipper Project

Spring cleaning is a special time of the year—one when you can truly feel refreshed and anew. Hyatt Regency Chicago sorted through their closets and picked out the suits and dress clothes that we no longer utilize on a regular basis and decided to give it to someone who might.

Dresses for donation to The Glass Slipper Project

Hyatt Regency Chicago employees collected 56 Prom dresses for The Glass Slipper Project.

We’ve partnered with The Glass Slipper Project and Bottomless Closet to collect and donate professional attire, accessories and formal attire. The Glass Slipper Project is a non-profit organization that gives away free Prom dresses and accessories to high school juniors and seniors in Chicagoland and surrounding areas. Bottomless Closet works to elevate the employment potential and marketability of woman welfare recipients who want to work by providing clothing at no charge to women on assistance who don’t have suitable clothing to wear to a job interview. The donations have been piling up! The totals are as follows:

  • 56 Prom Dresses
  • 12 Prom Shoes
  • 10 Prom Handbags
  • 56 Complete Suits
  • 50 Blazers
  • 21 Slacks
  • 8 Skirts
  • 63 Blouses
  • 28 Handbags/Totes
  • 28 Pairs of Shoes
  • 10 Coats
